Rachel Adedeji has definitely kept herself dignified since being booted off the show. But today, she let slip that she isn't entirely impressed with the show. "I don't know if X Factor is about talent anymore to be honest - seriously," she said in a radio interview today. Who can she be referring to? Any ideas? Maybe her next quote will help you out...
"John and Edward don't have to be good singers, what the hell. Listen, they enjoy what they do and they want to be popstars."
Talking to the Daily Star she commetted.
"Maybe it's a popularity contest. If I had a twin sister with wacky hair maybe I'd still be in the contest. People might like that."
Rachel, who left the show after being in the sing-off for the third time in four weeks, blamed the programme's editing for her lack of popularity.
She claims that the producers focused on creating a "story" for the other contestants about their home towns and rehearsal processes, but that she was sidelined.
Simon Cowell told the viewers: "Her personality is an issue. I know nothing about her."
Rachel said: "At the beginning I don't think viewers knew who I was. They knew I was this girl who liked to sing and that's all.
"Whereas the others... they knew Stacey from Dagenham and Lucie from her little village in Wales. Everyone had a little story. No-one knew who I was. I wasn't broadcast as much as anyone else.
"Simon's comments about me probably didn't help either."
But the Londoner vowed to continue with her musical ambitions - and return to her hallmark punky style.
"I liked my image when I joined the show but the stylist changed it. Maybe the old image scared people but I am going to go back to how I was.
"I know Dannii will open some doors for me. She's been so supportive."
